HP ANZ appoints Boyle
August 16, 2018
The OEM’s Australia and New Zealand division has announced the appointment of Mike Boyle as its new South Pacific Managing Director.
Boyle is currently at the helm of HP’s graphics solutions wing for Asia Pacific and Japan, and is moving to take up the reins from interim South Pacific MD Paul Gracey; Gracey has held the position on a temporary basis since the departure of Rob Mesaros in May of this year, and will return to leading HP’s South Pacific printing system business when Boyle begins in November, according to CRN.
In Boyle’s new role, he will be responsible for the OEM’s overall business operations in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific islands, including its portfolio of PCs, printing, graphics solutions, 3D, managed services, mobility, and technical workstations.
He has been with HP since 2015, having previously served as Canon Australia’s Senior General Manager. Before that, he held the position of International Marketing Director at Netherlands-based print vendor Oce.
“Mike is an effective leader with broad leadership experience, having spent over 20 years in the industry working in a variety of roles, and living and working across multiple regions including Europe, Asia and South Pacific,” an HP spokesperson declared.
