HOP is looking for testimonials on printer problems
April 11, 2022
The HOP association (Halte à l’Obsolescence Programmée) unveiled a new consumer survey as part of a new investigation into printer problems.
HOP said that five years after our first complaint against Epson, which incidentally is still ongoing, printers continue to be the bane of durability. The association has decided that is therefore opening a new survey, and consumers can contribute to it.
In order to relaunch the investigation and prove that printer obsolescence is more relevant than ever, HOP published a report form to compile new evidence.
Have you experienced a breakdown or malfunction with your printer? Whatever its brand, your testimony interests us! Completing the form will take you approximately seven minutes.
To ensure the most complete and exhaustive collection of information, HP asks that users gather the following elements:
- invoice-type supporting documents (store, date of purchase or at least year)
- model reference, serial number, technology (inkjet or laser) etc.
- type of failure, approximate date, printer status
Users can add and download all of these in the questionnaire. This must be completed ideally by Monday, 18 April 2022.
HOP added: “We will of course keep you informed of the results of the investigation and the legal actions that could be taken.
“One last good deed? Help us collect as many testimonials as possible by sharing this form with your loved ones.”
