Higher Information Group acquires

Higher Information Group (HIG) recently announced it has completed its acquisition of Office Equipment Source (OES), a family-owned technology company based in Elmira, New York servicing several counties in upstate New York and north-eastern Pennsylvania.
The acquisition will allow both HIG and OES customers to unlock even greater value and will provide HIG with a more extensive geographic presence, the company said in its announcement.

HIG will retain all existing OES sales, service, and support staff. Additionally, principals Mike Mitchell and Drew Mitchell will continue in executive roles with OES as part of the Higher Information Group family.
The acquisition extends HIG’s presence – spanning from the southern border of south-central PA and east to Philadelphia and to the north-central border of PA to central New York and beyond.
