April 23, 2019
Following its recent introduction to Bulgaria, Happyprinting says it is proud to announce its latest franchise partnership agreement with Obora Printing in Japan.
Together the two companies will roll out the Happyprinting online printing platform and
brand in the Japanese market. Japan is a very interesting market for Happyprinting, explains the company, as the country is ranked as the third largest print market in the world following the US and the Chinese print markets.
“We see great opportunities to make a difference by bringing a completely new user experience to the Japanese market based on a modern visual design,” comments Sven Rusticus, CEO of Happyprinting.
“Japan is a great country for online printing because of the high level of e-commerce maturity. Happyprinting is a great concept and we look forward to being part of the global Happyprinting network,” according to COO Hirokazu Obora.
The Japanese online print market is characterised by innovation and mobile accessibility. This offers Happyprinting the opportunity to roll out its mobile responsive online printing platform with focus on innovation, explains the company.
Happyprinting received support from Hewlett Packard to enter the Japanese market. As official Business Partners, HP assisted in the selection of a suitable printing partner for Happyprinting in Japan.
Following other international partnerships, Happyprinting utilises the expertise of local printing partners, equipped with HP Indigo digital printing presses and offset printing capacity.
Happyprinting is growing fast and will soon be live in eight countries: Netherlands, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Norway, Bulgaria and Japan. “And we have an exciting road ahead of us.”, concludes Jean-Pierre Meijer, COO of Happyprinting. “The world is our market and it’s our ambition is to be active in 20 countries within two years after we have started this adventure.”
