Graffen sells printer division to Doceo

Jun 5, 2025

Mike Dudek and Rich Wisniewski of Zygoquest Group served as the advisor to Graffen Business Systems, Inc and its owner Jeff Grimes on the sale of its Print Technology Division.

Graffen Business Systems, Inc., headquartered in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania (near Philadelphia), is owned and operated by Jeff Grimes.  Jeff Grimes of Graffen also owns an IT Division which it will retain, which provides IT Managed Services and other IT solutions.

Graffen’s divestiture of its Print Technology Division supports its strategic shift to focus exclusively on its IT Division, which delivers managed IT services and technology solutions to businesses throughout the greater Philadelphia area. The Print Technology Division, previously authorised by Kyocera, Konica Minolta, and KIP, served a loyal client base across the region, which will now benefit from Doceo’s customer-first culture and extensive business technology portfolio.

“As we transition to a 100% IT-focused business, our priority was finding the right partner to support our valued print clients with the same level of service and integrity we’ve always upheld,” said Jeff Grimes, CEO and President of Graffen. “Doceo stood out for their people, their track record, and their commitment to long-term client success. We’re confident our customers are in excellent hands.”

Doceo is a leading Mid-Atlantic provider of customer-centric business technology solutions and services. Doceo’s acquisition strengthens its presence in the Philadelphia market, bringing on board experienced professionals and clients who value reliability, innovation, and responsive support.

The move aligns with Doceo’s continued expansion strategy, underscoring its role as a regional leader in customer-centric business technology.

“We’re excited to welcome Graffen’s print team and customers to the Doceo family,” said John Lewis, CEO of Doceo. “This acquisition deepens our footprint in one of the Mid-Atlantic’s most dynamic markets and reflects our commitment to delivering proven technology with a personal touch.”

With offices across Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Northern Virginia, Doceo continues to expand through values-driven growth and strategic partnerships that prioritize people, performance, and service.
