GPI says farewell to 26 year veteran, Robin Hsu

In a letter to customers, GPI’s President, Jerry Wang announced the retirement of Robin Hsu, the Vice President of Sales.
In a letter to their business partners, General Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. (GPI’s) President, Jerry Wang announced the retirement of Robin Hsu, effective from January 1, 2021.
Robin Hsu retires as Vice President of Sales, after 26 years leading the GPI sales team for 26 years, and “we’ve enjoyed the opportunity to work with him, and we appreciate his dedicated devotions at GPI.” Said Jerry Wang, President of GPI.
Hsu gained his MBA in marketing and finance at the University of West Florida in 1992 and joined GPI in 1994. He was appointed Vice President of Sales in 2000 and has led the sales team until his recent retirement.
Taiwan based GPI was opened in 1978 as a precision injection molding business and for the last 28 years has evolved as a specialist in toner cartridge manufacturer providing compatible cartridges for copiers and laser printers under their own “Cartridge Web” brand and is also a leading supplier across the industry. Apart from toner cartridges, GPI manufactures key plastic components such as OPC gears.
In January 2018, GPI completed the purchase of the Minneapolis based, Katun Corporation who is one of the world’s leading providers of OEM-compatible imaging supplies, photoreceptors, and parts for copiers, printers, MFPs and other imaging equipment. From their Minneapolis and worldwide locations, Katun serves 10,000 customers in 116 countries.
