GM technology showcases new line of consumables

October 18, 2022

GM Technology announced it started a new production line and introduced a new range of remanufactured copier consumables.

The Spanish remanufacturer specialised on copier machines and consumables, has recently introdcued a new line of remanufactured consumables.

These new consumables include remanufactured drum units, fuser units, transfer belts and developer units. With this new range of products GM Technology said it aims to fulfil the growing demand for remanufactured copier consumable units.

GM Technology has been remanufacturing these types of components and using them during the remanufacturing process of their Green Line remanufactured copiers for 30 years and are hoping that new line of products offer their customers and partners a complete solution of remanufactured items.

GM Technology’s new range of remanufactured components is introduced as a line of premium quality products, and every detail of its remanufacturing process is controlled and done under strict international certifications, the company added.

These new remanufactured components are also rigorously tested before being introduced to the market, and they are processed under the BS 8887-220, 2010, ISO/IEC 19752:2004 and ISO/IEC 19798:2007 standards to guarantee performance, quality and the specifications for reworking and remarketing of consumables.

GM Technology said that the focus is set to their major brands, such as Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Lexmark and Xerox at the moment, but their R&D department is working to increase their product range in line with customer needs.

“Volume is not our target at this point. Our main objective is achieving the highest quality, so we are not focusing on producing as many as possible, but as good as possible. The focus is entirely on quality, quality controls, certifications while keeping prices competitive.

“So, for these reasons quantities are limited, and lead times are around 10-12 days. Currently we are not producing for stock, all production capacity is on demand,” said José Ángel Muñoz Parejo, Chief Operating Officer at GM Technology.
