G&G passes Netherlands ILT’s testing
June 18, 2021
G&G products successfully passed the inspection and testing conducted by the Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT) in the Netherlands.
Last November, per ILT’s request, G&G sent several toner cartridges to ILT for further inspection. The submitted products include remanufactured toner cartridge for HP C4096A and HP Q2612A and compatible toner cartridges for HP CF217A, CF410-413X and Samsung CLT-K/C/M/Y404S.
ILT said “the purpose of the inspection was to assess whether the following law and regulations are complied with: the prohibition of the use of hazardous substances1 as referred to in Article 3, paragraph 1 of the Regulation on Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Rgseea)”.
On 24 February 2021, ITL informed G&G that “SGS’s analysis revealed that no prohibited bromides were found in the components of your products. Conclusion: there are no violations and that is why I close the inspection with this. Remaining intact samples will be returned to you.”
G&G added: “At G&G, we carefully evaluate the safety of our components and products before they go to the market. The well-established risk evaluations to inspect hazardous substance and potential exposures are mandatory and they are going through the entire process from development to manufacturing. G&G aims to provide customers with environmentally compliant, high-quality products.”
