FUJIFILM Holdings supports earthquake victims

The company announced it is donating ¥25 million ($171,804/ €156,047) for people affected by the earthquakes centred in the centre part of Myanmar.

FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation and its group companies extend their deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the major earthquakes that struck the centre part of Myanmar and offer their sincerest sympathies to those affected by the disaster.

FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation announced the donation of a total of ¥25 million ($171,804/ €156,047) for the people affected by this disaster.

The company will donate a total of ¥10 million ($68,690/ €62,343) to NPO Japan Platform, an international emergency humanitarian aid organisation. In addition, FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation will donate medical equipment worth ¥15 million ($103,036/ €93,521), including Fujifilm’s portable X-ray systems for medical care.

Medical equipment will be provided promptly by FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation’s affiliated company FUJIFILM Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.

The company said: “FUJIFILM Holdings and its group companies extend their heartfelt wishes for the swift recovery and restoration of the affected communities.”
