FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation announced that it has been recognised by CDP, a non-profit organisation, as a Supplier Engagement Leader for the seventh consecutive year.
This rating is based on responses to CDP’s Climate Change questionnaire, focusing on engagement with suppliers.
In line with the Fujifilm Group’s environmental philosophy and procurement policy, FUJIFILM Holdings actively shares these principles with its suppliers. The company also conducts surveys to assess suppliers’ activities and provide support to help them upgrade to low-carbon equipment and accurately calculate their CO2 emissions. FUJIFILM Holdings credits its sustainability initiatives for this recognition.
As part of its CSR plan “Sustainable Value Plan 2030,” the Fujifilm Group has set a goal of reducing CO2 emissions across the entire product life cycle by 50% by fiscal year 2030 compared to fiscal year 2019 levels. This effort encompasses all stages, from raw material procurement to manufacturing, transportation, usage, and disposal.
FUJIFILM Holdings said it will continue collaborating closely with its suppliers to address environmental challenges, including combating climate change.
