Fuji Xerox launch wide-format multi-function range
February 26, 2018
Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific has rolled out a new line-up of wide-format monochrome multi-function devices, consisting of five different models.
The printers are all from the DocuWide 6057/3037 series, which are designed “to help enhance workflows and output for industries such as architecture, engineering and construction, which require fast, high-quality and multi-site printing operations”, according to Wide Format On-line.
The line-up’s features include a second Ethernet port to enable “shared usage between two different networks”, and the new devices are “among Fuji Xerox’s first A0 multifunction devices to adopt the EA-Eco LGK toner”, a black energy-saving toner with a matt finish.
The printers also offer faster print speeds and “an increased print resolution”, from 600dpi to 1,200 dpi.
These improved features “enhance reproduction of fine lines and circular arcs, which will be advantageous for architectural design printing and design output from various computer-aided detection systems frequently used by engineering fields such as production, construction, and facility implementation.”
Additionally, the new line-up comes with improved colour scanning functions and Fuji Xerox’s exclusive Multiple Transmission function, which “allows users to store scanned images in PC folders and simultaneously print them out either on an A0 multifunction device, or an office multifunction device, depending on the print size and colour monochrome.”
The models’ new features “help simplify users’ daily tasks and improve productivity.”
