France: Ecoburotic and Recto Verso merge

Ecoburotic, the office print specialist located in Rouvignies in northern France has taken over fellow print specialist Recto Verso, based in Roubaix.
Established in September 2011, Recto Verso is a dedicated office printing specialist and according to their website provide “quality advice and services at very competitive prices.” The Armor-OWA brand stands out from the predominately OEM brand list the company promotes on their website.
According to the French Directorate of Legal and Administrative Information bulletin Recto Verso has assets of €2,075,180 ($2,332,724) and liabilities of €800,615 ($899,742) and net assets of €1,274,565 ($1,432,773.) Similarly reported Ecoburotic capital of €6,000,000 ($6,745,193).
The takeover of Recto Verso by Ecoburotic was published on the Bodac website on 16 June 2020.
Established in October 2001, earnings at the French parent Ecoburotic reflect the market changes. Earnings in 2018 are reported at €30,722,230 ($33,839,379), down 17.5% on 2016 earnings of €37,260,720 ($41,041,280).
In July 2019 M2W, SAS with its registered office at 120 rue de Tourcoing 59100 Roubaix, coincidently the same address as Recto Verso was appointed chairman of Ecoburotic in place of Mr Laurent SIROT, who resigned. At the same time, Bruno Mazet also resigned from his functions as managing director. Mr Benoît Lepere and Mr Rodolphe Fournier were appointed as deputy managing directors.
In May 2020 The Recycler reported that the Ecoburotic wholly-owned subsidiary company Ecoburotic UK was closing. Matthew Carslake, the Loyalty Accounts Manager at Ecoburotic UK Ltd announced “Ecoburotic UK is closing down” and described it as the “end of an era.”
