The Cross Imaging compatible toners are mainly manufactured in Japan or USA and are premium quality for OEM-equivalent performance and image-quality and perfectly matches the remanufactured drum-units that we recently released and is a great opportunity to further reduce printing-cost and total-cost of ownership in very sustainable and ecological way.
CROSS Imaging Supplies is a Swiss based company located in Stäfa, Switzerland and has warehouses in Germany and The Netherlands supplying distributors in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia with their wide range of competitively priced premium quality compatible monochrome and colour toner for Copiers, MFPs and Laser printers.
Commenting on the market situation, Cross Imaging CEO, Simon Weiss, said “Global toner consumption has started to slightly decline. In advanced and very mature markets that decline is much more visible then in lower developed and emerging markets. Annual shipments of printers and MFP’s from the OEM’s have decreased are likely to decrease further. Accordingly, the industry is undergoing for some time already a phase of consolidation and shrinking which is also why we have seen various takeovers of companies among the OEM’s and the Aftermarket also which I believe is not over yet. Over the last 5 years we have seen various toner manufacturers and recyclers also that have discontinued their operation and also here the process is probably not over yet as in total there are still large over-capacities in place especially when it comes to the production of monochrome toner for lower speed applications.
“On the other side we see that many companies have realized that stable quality and availability are more important [than] the price and at the end will prevail. Only with products of high and stable quality that are respecting the IP-rights of the respective holders we will be able to take market share from the OEM’s and withstand against the Chinese competition. Regulations such as REACH and WEE will be supportive in that regard if enforced and controlled by the authorities. And finally, we see an unstoppable trend for eco-friendly and sustainable products and services which to some extent at least may even support the local recycling of printer-cartridges in Europe and make it more attractive and competitive again. Needless to say, that there is also a ray of hope in that!”
Commenting on the show, CROSS Imaging Supplies said “Paperworld/Remanexpo is for us also an important (multipurpose-) event for collecting and sharing market information and for meeting suppliers also.”
