Epson America, Inc. announced that CRN has recognised Debra Merritt, Epson’s Channel Marketing Manager, on the Women of the Channel list for 2025.
This annual list celebrates women from vendors, distributors, solution providers and other channel-focused organisations who make a positive difference in the IT and print ecosystem. The CRN 2025 Women of the Channel honourees are innovative and strategic leaders committed to advancing channel excellence and supporting the success of their partners and customers.
Bringing over 27 years of industry expertise to Epson, Merritt is responsible for developing and executing channel marketing strategies and integrated commercial marketing efforts to support Epson’s channel partners. Epson explained that as the primary liaison for Business Inkjet channel partner marketing, she has been instrumental in driving results since joining the company in 2018. Known for exceptional relationship management and team leadership, Merritt is recognised for her strategic and tactical marketing leadership, successfully leading award-winning product positioning and digital business ventures.
“Channel partner success comes from embracing Epson’s sustainability story as a true competitive edge,” said Merritt. “By aligning with the growing demand for environmentally conscious solutions and mastering the art of winning big deals, our partners are elevating their value, strengthening relationships, and driving lasting growth in an evolving marketplace.”
Over the past year, Merritt’s team worked closely with sales and partners to seamlessly lead multiple partner activations and awareness campaigns to help maximise reach and engagement by leveraging Epson’s messaging. Merritt also managed and deployed comprehensive partner communications that included a quarterly newsletter distributed to all partners that featured product launches, webinars, and promotions to ensure consistent messaging and partner alignment. Additionally, she also contributes to Epson’s Culture Committee and co-leads the Community Engagement subcommittee.
“It’s an honour to recognise the outstanding accomplishments of these women, who are leaders and change-makers in the IT channel,” said Jennifer Follett, VP, U.S. Content and Executive Editor, CRN at The Channel Company. “Each woman spotlighted on this list has shown exceptional dedication to building creative strategies that propel transformation, growth, and success for their organizations and the entire IT channel.
