Epson Atmix and EEG establish European sales office
April 2, 2025
Epson Atmix Corporation (Atmix) has teamed up with Epson Europe Electronics GmbH (EEG) to establish a sales office in Munich, Germany on 1 April 2025, to strengthen and expand its metal powder business in Europe.
Atmix is a materials manufacturer that develops, manufactures, and sells metal powders and Metal Injection Molding (MIM) parts used as raw materials for electronic components in IT devices, automotive parts, medical devices, etc. Atmix’s high-performance metal powders, which are used as raw materials for electronic components in cutting-edge products such as 5G, a new communication network that achieves ultra-high speed, large capacity, and low latency, and self-driving technology that has been attracting attention in recent years, are highly trusted and expected to be used overseas.
In the European market, there is a growing need for metal powder as a raw material for 3D printers, and market potential is expanding, Epson explained. Atmix has been conducting sales and service directly from Japan to Europe, but responding quickly has been an issue.
EEG was established in 1989 and has been providing sales and technical support for electronic device products such as semiconductors and crystal devices in Europe dealing directly with European customers for 35 years.
In response to this situation, Atmix and EEG will strengthen and expand the sales and service functions for metal powder in Europe by coordinating their product, service, sales, and technical support capabilities, and will provide customers with a swift supply of products, service and support.
