Epson adds three more SureColor devices
April 27, 2020
The company added new large format printers to its professional range, introducing the SureColor SC-T3405, T3405N and SC-T5405.
Epson has added three new professional printers to its LFP technical printer range: the SureColor SC-T3405 and the SC-T3405N, both 24-inch (A1) printers, one for a desktop and the other with a stand; and the SureColor SC-T5405, a new 36-inch (A0) floor-standing printer.
The new models extend Epson’s range of technical printers for professional service providers and are ideal for printing high quality CAD designs, architectural or engineering technical drawings, general office documents, high-visibility posters for events’ organisers or Point-of-Purchase (POP) signage for retailers, Epson said.
Bradley Venn, Product Manager, Professional Graphics, Epson Europe, explained: “If you’re an engineer or architect, or work with topography plans, city management or territory scale studies, and need to print accurately, reliably and in fine detail then these printers are designed precisely to meet your needs.
“The new printers are also perfect for producing high quality posters, whether for schools, for retailers’ in-store signage or for high visibility colourful posters advertising events.”
Building on Epson’s PrecisionCore printhead technology, the new stylish printers allow users to print wirelessly from tablets and smartphones and also from other printers. Offering improved and lower total cost of ownership (TCO), the printers will fit seamlessly into busy professional working environments and are designed to protect prints from harmful dust and dirt.
Further enhancements introduced to increase productivity include high capacity ink cartridges (110ml,350ml and a new 700ml) and four colour PIGMENT UltraChrome XD2 inks that are smudge and water-resistant.
The SureColor SC-T3405, SC-T3405N (N is without stand) and SC-T5405 will be available from technical and IT dealers from May 2020.
