September 21, 2018
The OEM has extended its cartridge-free line of printers with the addition of two new models offering “a five-colour ink system.”
As TradeArabia reveals, the L7160 and the L7180 are ideal for consumers “looking for a cartridge-free printer suited to both creative and office tasks”.
Both new models come with a five-colour ink system that incorporates both a black photo ink and a black pigment ink, “great for producing everything from photos, drawings and diagrams to office documents.”
The L7160 and L7180 also offer mobile printing, a CD printer, double-sided printing and a card reader.
The L7160 is designed for A4 printing, while the L7180 supports A3 printing as well.
In addition to these two new models, Epson has also launched the L3110/1 and L3150/1, which feature a new design whereby the ink tank has been moved from the side of the printer to the front to create “a more compact and sleek aesthetic.”
These models incorporate an “enhanced ink filling system” and come with squeeze-free, easy-to-open bottles that minimise spillage, making them ideal for busy households.
These 3-in-1 devices come with up to three years’ worth of ink.
Jason Whiley, Director of Sales, Epson Middle East, said: “We are excited to launch the L7160 and L7180 as they fill a gap in our portfolio that is sure to appeal to creative professionals from advertising agencies and educational organisations to photographers. The new 5-colour ink system is just what they need to produce a variety of photos and documents, while the range of features will ensure every task can be completed easily.
“We’re sure that the L3110/1 and L3150/1 are also going to prove really popular with home users. Our compact and re-engineered ITS design proved really popular across our business focused range, so we’ve rolled this design out so that home users can also benefit from its contemporary style and improved usability.”
