efex announces expansion with Wyscom acquisition

The company announced the acquisition of Wyscom, a Canberra-based managed services firm.
This marks efex’s first acquisition in the ACT and first international acquisition with Wyscom’s operations in New Zealand. This strategic acquisition significantly expands efex’s footprint in Australia, particularly in the government and public sectors, while also deepening its capabilities in cyber security with Wyscom’s strong expertise. The acquisition aligns with efex’s strategy to target key verticals of Professional Services, Education, Healthcare, and Mining & Remote Services, providing a comprehensive set of managed services to midmarket businesses.
Wyscom, with 25 employees and almost 150 clients across Canberra, Queensland, Victoria, and New Zealand, brings expertise in providing IT solutions to government agencies, education institutions, and professional services SMBs supporting the public sector.
The acquisition will strengthen efex’s ability to provide on-the-ground support to its existing clients in Canberra and enhance its capabilities in cyber security.

This acquisition is part of a broader expansion plan that has seen efex complete twelve acquisitions over the last decade, further strengthening its position as one of the largest mid-market providers of managed IT services in Australia with a workforce of more than 300 people, serving over 7000 clients.
