ECS expands with Hastings hiring
October 1, 2018
The South Yorkshire-based company has appointed Steven Hastings to its sales team in the role of Executive Account Manager, a move that ECS believes will “help them reach new heights.”
Responding to what the company itself calls “an ever-increasing market demand combined with extraordinary growth,” ECS asserted that the hiring will ensure it can “respond to these market changes while maintaining their position as the number one UK remanufacturer, recycler, and distributor of reprographic consumables.”
Having previously worked for Ricoh as a Channel Director and European Business Development Manager, Hastings brings with him an abundance of knowledge and industry experience. As well as thirteen years with Ricoh, a further year working with Beta Distribution plc provided Hastings with “all of the tools that he needs to ensure that his future with ECS is a successful one.”
“This was an opportunity that I couldn’t miss,” declared Hastings himself. “ECS have risen to pole position in the toner aftermarket over the last couple of years and the steps that they’ve taken have been hard to ignore – ECS is a company that anybody searching for a new challenge would want to be a part of. After recently starting my new role I’m looking forward to bringing my own knowledge and expertise to the table.”
Chris Fink, Director of ECS, said: “We’re very excited to welcome Steven on-board, his experience will add enormous value to our already talented team of executive account managers. Having played a pivotal role during his tenure at Ricoh and Beta Distribution, we have confidence that Steven will continue to be a success with ECS and achieve fantastic results.”
