ECS entered for EOS Manufacturer of the Year

The UK remanufacturer has been entered into yet another award, this time for the Print IT 2021 Awards in the EOS Manufacturer of the Year award.
The award itself is open for UK-based providers of OEM-alternative remanufactured, own brand or compatible ink and toner cartridges whose solutions are engineered to match OEM-original supplies by offering end-users a high quality, cost-effective alternative.
Effective Consumable Solutions (UK) Ltd (ECS) explained that the category describes their solution perfectly, as they are committed to providing quality, performance, reliability and consistency to all Partners via their huge range of products which covers all major manufacturer brands.
Criteria for the award also includes sustainability, which ECS highlighted it provides in abundance through both their remanufacturing processes and through their recycling solution; The Greener Side, which is one of the largest, most successful WEEE waste recycling schemes in the UK, taking back over 1,000,000 toner cartridges every single year.
ECS added that its remanufacturing process follows strict ETIRA guidelines which state:
- All remanufactured cartridges use a core derived from a virgin or non-virgin cartridge, manufactured by the original manufacturer of the corresponding printer/copier.
- All empty cores not suitable for remanufacturing are being fed into a proper and legitimate raw material recycling process (The Greener Side)
- All repairable empty cores are remanufactured in-house by the user
- All cartridges correctly labelled as remanufactured, repaired, refurbished etc. while having no affiliation to OEM products other than names intended to show compatibility.
This is the remanufacturer’s third award nomination in as many weeks, rounding off a fantastic month for ECS and ECS the Greener Side, who are hoping to add to their impressive collection of awards.
