ECI Software Solutions introduces Ridder iQ

July 5, 2024

Ridder iQ ERP takes manufacturing system monitoring to the next level.

ECI Software Solutions has introduced Ridder iQ, the business management software designed to cater to the specific needs of SMEs that are discreet manufacturing companies requiring tighter integration between engineering, R&D and production processes.

Ridder iQ provides all the necessary functionality for continuous alignment between R&D and engineering, procurement, production, assembly, and service and maintenance. Manufacturers from a broad range of disciplines, including industrial machinery, equipment manufacturing and custom fabrication where products are often designed and manufactured to specific customer requirements, can thrive by gaining visibility, control and cost reductions of the often highly specific dynamics associated with modern manufacturing, ECI explained.

Ridder iQ provides:

  • Powerful project, production, and capacity planning (both resources and machines)
  • Simple and efficient calculations
  • Inventory-driven or project-based purchasing
  • The ability to easily generate useful reports throughout the discreet manufacturing process
  • A high level of integration possibilities
  • A made-for-manufacturers heritage that is evident from first use onwards

“This is a major addition to our UK manufacturing product portfolio and will complement our existing M1 business management software,” said Aldo Veenstra, president, Manufacturing Division Europe of ECI Software Solutions. “Ridder iQ was born in the European machine-building sector and benefits from years of first-hand, real-world manufacturing process expertise that has evolved into a world-class, ultra-modern ERP system.”

Additional benefits of Ridder iQ are that it has attractive fixed-price options for small to medium enterprises of 5-50 users called Ridder ECI Essentials, and the fully featured and imminently scalable Ridder iQ Full for large, global organisations of 50-300 users that require 100% of the power and functionality that Ridder iQ can provide.

Both versions of Ridder iQ easily integrate with existing software to strengthen the essential data backbone of the business.

Veenstra added, “For more than 30 years, ECI Software Solutions has provided on-prem and now, cloud-based business and e-commerce solutions for manufacturing and many other sectors. The addition of Ridder iQ is further evidence of our long-term commitment to enable our customers to meet the evolving needs of their respective customer bases in the UK manufacturing industry.”
