The company said its new customer growth increased by 20% year-over-year (1/4/2020 – 31/3/2021), with 2,280 new businesses choosing DocuWare solutions. DocuWare Cloud continues its winning streak with almost 75% of all new customers choosing the cloud-based version. Cloud revenue has grown by 41% over the same period last year.
“We have been supporting remote and distributed workforces for years and when COVID-19 lockdowns forced work-from-home situations, DocuWare’s partners knew exactly how to help,” stated Max Ertl, President DocuWare Group. “While educational webinars and virtual demos, highlighted the fast benefits and ease of implementing our cloud-based solutions, we owe a special thanks to our global partner network who put it all in place, contributing to the very successful customer and revenue growth in the 2020 fiscal year,” concluded Ertl.
The year 2020 saw a boom in all sectors of the technology industry. McKinsey research shows that during the COVID-19 crisis, “one area that has seen tremendous growth is digitisation.”
DocuWare’s customer base is over 15,000 customers across 100 countries. The software has been recognised by Gartner, Forrester, Nucleus and other analysts.
