DocuWare announces ski racer sponsorship
November 9, 2018
Lena Dürr will sport the company’s logo on her kit throughout the 2018-19 FIS World Cup season.
The German athlete, who competes in slalom, giant slalom, and parallel slalom races, becomes the latest beneficiary of the cloud solutions for document management company’s commitment to supporting both local athletes, and healthy and active lifestyles.
Jürgen Biffar, President of DocuWare, believes that the company’s focus on top performance and continuous drive for success is mirrored in its sports sponsorships; furthermore, they provide a strong platform for reaching out to new potential partners and employees.
“We’ve really seen how sponsorship activities have raised our profile amongst professionals within the community,” said Biffar, giving as an example DocuWare’s 2015 sponsorship of German handball team Sportclub Unterpfaffenhofen-Germering (SCUG), after which there was a “significant rise” in the number of job applications.
Case in point – since the company began sponsoring the handball players of the Sportclub Unterpfaffenhofen-Germering (SCUG) in 2015, they have also seen a significant rise in the number of job applications.
A passionate skier, Biffar has overseen the launch of DocuWare’s own Sports and Wellness Programme for employees, which has been running for five years.
The company stated that through the partnership with Dürr, who was part of the Germany team at this year’s Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, the skier will continue “to inspire young people from her hometown and beyond to pursue their goals to ski professionally.”
As well as Dürr and SCUG, DocuWare has also recently announced its sponsorship of both HSG Würm-Mitte handball team, and the Bavarian Handball Federation.
