DocuWare demonstrated continued growth in global revenues and customer numbers in FY24.
FY24 was a year of significant growth for DocuWare. Cloud revenue increased year-on-year by 25%, with global revenue growing at 16% despite political and economic uncertainties. DocuWare said it continues to invest in both its cloud and on-premises offerings, ensuring consistent experience and driving steady growth across both platforms.
Customer numbers surged, with over 3,000 new customers joining worldwide. Approximately 2,800 of these new customers chose our cloud solutions, demonstrating the clear preference for flexible and scalable cloud-based ECM. DocuWare now serves well over 20,000 customers globally.
Dr. Michael Berger, CEO, commented, “Our exceptional FY24 performance validates our vision, our product strength and our commitment to innovation in the ECM space. We’ve anticipated the market’s evolving needs, and we’ve invested strategically to deliver cutting-edge technology that empowers businesses to thrive.”
DocuWare explained that solutions like DocuWare IDP which was launched last year, undoubtedly set a new standard for automating the classification, extraction and interpretation of data from all types of documents – from complex, unstructured data and low-quality scans to even handwritten notes. DocuWare IDP is offered as a standalone product and has brought about such progress in the workplace with its ability to automate key document workflow tasks, document splitting and cropping, text recognition and data extraction from vital documents like invoices, purchase orders, ID cards or contracts. With the goal to reduce manual intervention, DocuWare IDP empowers businesses to achieve new levels of employee productivity, cost reduction and scalable growth.
Dr. Michael Berger concluded that “in FY25, we’ll continue to focus on our AI technology-based product advances such as Intelligent Document Processing (DocuWare IDP) and offering the best, most secure e-invoicing solutions to our customers. In addition to this, as mentioned in our recent DocuWorld Conferences, our product plans include projects that will bring real value to our users’ daily work, such as workflow optimisation and our new Workflow Designer.”
