The company has become a distributor of Kyocera Document Solution’s range of A3 and A4 ECOSYS print and consumables solutions, as CRN reports.
“We’ve been successfully servicing the print market in Australia for many years and the addition of Kyocera will result in more choice for our partners,” Dicker Data chief executive David Dicker said.
“Furthermore, Kyocera’s leading partner program will enable our committed print partners to enjoy above-average profitability across the range that we’re now distributing.”
The agreement between the two companies has already come into effect, with Dicker Data revealing “it already had stock on hand to start fulfilling customer orders”.
Kyocera managing director David Finn said: “I am extremely excited to expand our distribution footprint by partnering with Dicker Data, both parties have experienced impressive growth in recent years and I believe our strong product portfolio coupled with our reseller programs will complement Dicker Data’s already successful business model.”
Dicker Data has been steadily burgeoning in recent months, having added 18 new vendors last year and making a net profit in 2017 of $27 million (US$20 million/€17 million).
