Cyberport now offers IT rental solutions
July 5, 2024
Cyberport partnered with topi to offer IT rental solutions for its business customers.
Through the partnership with topi, an innovative service provider in the field of hardware-as-a-service, Cyberport now offers the Cyberport Subscription|Business as a flexible and sustainable rental option.
High acquisition costs for the right IT equipment are often a financial hurdle for start-ups and small and medium-sized companies. With the rental service from Cyberport and topi, this becomes smaller. With low monthly instalments instead of an initial investment of the full purchase price, companies can optimise their cash flow and have more budget for their core business.
The Cyberport Subscription offers flexible terms of 6 to 36 months to make it possible to align the IT equipment with the development of your own company, because at the end of the rental period, customers have the choice of whether they want a new device, purchase the rental device or return it.
All returned devices are passed on to a partner from the circular economy in order to minimise electronic waste and make a contribution to environmental protection.
With topi Care+, the rented products are also insured against self-inflicted damage. The additional service guarantees entitlement to two replacement devices every 12 months and an unlimited number of repairs during the entire rental period.
“Since we launched our subscription model for Apple products in 2020, which is only available to private customers, we have received questions from our B2B customers about a rental option that is also available to them.
“We searched for a long time for a suitable partner for this, but never gave up, because the need for such a service was clearly evident in the market. We are all the more excited that, thanks to topi’s efforts, we have now launched the Cyberport Subscription|Business within just a few months,” said Cyberport Managing Director Maik Friedrich.
“We are proud to be working with one of the leading IT retailers in Germany and to now also offer Cyberport’s customers the opportunity to rent their hardware fully digitally – in the web shop, through sales or directly in the store,” said Charlotte Pallua, Co-Founder and CEO of topi. “In this way, we can jointly serve the increased demand in the market via all relevant channels and simplify access to IT resources for companies of all sizes.”
