CIG reveals alarming plastic production stats

Clover Imaging Group has released an infographic highlighting the worrying figures behind plastic production.
The infographic reveals that 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic have been produced to date, on a global basis.
This amount of plastic could cover an area the size of Argentina, leaving the 8th largest country in the world ankle-deep in the material.
Even more worryingly, out of these 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic, 6.3 billion tonnes of waste have been generated.
CIG is encouraging people to “Be Part of the Change” and help cut down on the usage and waste of plastics.
