CET unveils water foam technology
July 4, 2023
CET announced the launch of its latest breakthrough product utilising its proprietary water foam technology.
After intensive research and development, CET says it has successfully developed and mastered this innovative manufacturing technique in house, positioning itself as the sole compatible manufacturer with this capability.
Why water foam
Recognising the need to stay synchronised with OEMs and meet the current configuration requirements for new technology machines, CET embarked on developing water-based foam technology.
CET added: “This forward-thinking approach aligns with the industry’s evolving demands and sets a new development trend in the market.”
Water foam roller advantages
By subverting silicone foaming, water foam creates a sponge like rollers with a finer molecular structure. Its NIP is 15mm, 7mm wider than silicone rollers. Its wider NIP increases the contact area, improving performance and fixing effect. Water foam compresses over 30% on work, compared to silicone foam’s 20%.
CET water foam technology’s uniform joint hole foam bubble structure allows energy absorption and release quickly, which CET says improves product longevity and performance.
The company added: “Water foam technology is perfect for enterprises seeking greater performance and efficiency due to its reliability and durability, which saves end users money.”
Ambitious production plans
Currently, CET’s lower fuser roller for HP M452dn printer uses water foam technology to demonstrate its innovative approach. CET has ambitious plans to expand its product line further, developing products with other OEM brands, including Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Canon, etc.
