CET secures patent for toner cartridge design
January 31, 2025
The CET Group has made significant breakthroughs in the development of toner cartridge structures, successfully obtaining two new patents with another under review.
The new CET developed toner cartridge structure has recently been granted a patent (Patent Application No. CN108089418B). This patented toner cartridge design adopts a unique toner outlet device which features an improved toner output, high toner efficiency and lower waste, effectively reducing customer operating costs. With this research achievement, CET has provided a cost-effective solution for its customers.
CET’s new, uniquely designed connecting rod structure for toner cartridges has also been granted a patent (Patent Application No.202110577374X; CN115407629A). This patent recognises a new connecting rod structure design for use in certain toner cartridges. By effectively reducing part wear and protecting key components from damage, CET’s design helps lower maintenance costs. Moreover, this innovative design enhances the reliability of the product while prolonging its service life.
CET has also applied for another invention patent regarding the toner outlet structure of the toner cartridge (Application No. 2021108020037; CN115616878A). This new patent application proposes a new switch structure for the toner cartridge toner outlet, which prevents toner leakage caused by valve failure. The structure uses a basic design that is easy to install, providing full protection to the internal structure of the machine while improving the user experience.
CET’s patent awards not only demonstrate innovation in design but also, through stringent standards and exquisite craftsmanship, achieve high quality comparable to that of OEMs.
CET added: “The CET R&D team thoroughly researched the toner performance and determined the optimal solution after many rounds of testing to ensure the product provides the best performance and is perfectly compatible for use with Canon machines.”
The cartridges are replacement cartridges for NPG-88 CPP toner cartridges for use in Canon iR ADVANCE DX C3922/3926/3930/3935/3922i/3926i/3930i/3935i/iR C3322L/3326 devices and replacement GPR-66 CPP toner cartridge for use in iR ADVANCE DX C3922/3926/3930/3935 and iR ADVANCE DX C3922i/3926i/3930i/3935i devices.
