The CET Group announced it has received an “Intention to Grant” letter from the European Patent Office.
The CET Group has received an “Intention to Grant” letter from the European Patent Office for the design of its new toner cartridges for use in Canon GPR 50 series of machines including the GPR-51, 52, 53, 55, 57, 58, NPG-65, 66, 67, 71, 73, 76, 84, and C-EXV-47, 48, 49, 51, 53, 54, 55, 59 applications.
CET’s newly designed and internally manufactured toner cartridges greatly improves the toner outlet speed to ensure sufficient toner output during use. The new cartridge designs also offer both production efficiencies and easy installation, the company added. CET said: “Because toner is filled at the tail end of the bottle, the new cartridges can be refilled repeatedly for more eco-friendly use.”
The CET toner cartridges are fitted with new, updated chips that function in both older and newer machine models.
According to Mr. Harry Geng, CET’s lead design engineer, “The new cartridge design uses a novel toner outlet structure that is simpler in design and more cost effective to produce while providing improved toner outlet speed and excellent performance.” CET said it is proud to receive the “Intention to Grant” letter from the European Patent Office and looks forward to expanding its relationships with Canon customers around the world.
