The Australian recycling program has launched the Enviroliner™ pen, created by program partner, Close the Loop.
According to C4PA, the pen “showcases advanced environmental innovation”, being the “first felt tip pen in the world to use post-consumer recycled ink from end of life inkjet cartridges.”
100 percent of the pen’s plastic housing (including the cap) is created from recycled inkjet cartridges, and the pen itself “can be recycled over and over again just by placing your used pen back in your printer cartridge recycling box.”
Businesses who want to buy the pen can have it customised with their company logo.
