Canon upgrades i-SENSYS range

August 5, 2019

Canon UK announced it is upgrading its i-SENSYS range to included five new features all aimed to deliver “no headaches, no challenge – just simplicity”.

The i-SENSYS devices have been designed with optimum productivity in mind, according to the OEM. Capable of printing up to 43 pages per minute, with single pass, double-sided scanning in seconds, the devices speed up workflows and allow partners to appeal to a wide range of business requirements. All three ranges come equipped with AirPrint and Mopria support as standard. The built-in Mobile Portal enables secure mobile printing, and compatibility with existing software and technology platforms allows partners to better support and promote new ways of working.

The upgraded printers include a 5” LCD touch screen for one-touch control of daily tasks and include Canon’s smart toner cartridges, with auto-seal removal, making handling a breeze, Canon added.

Canon also added five new applications which allow users to automatically name scanned documents and send them to pre-assigned folders, enhance the text quality of scanned copy in one touch, change the language of the touch screen display in one easy step, fax and store a copy of the sent document in a specified location and access the Application Library setting guide, remote UI description and user manual link at the simple touch of a button.

Adam Poole, B2B Marketing Director at Canon UK said: “We wanted to give our customers the best of everything. So we’ve designed a range to give you something small, but powerful. Efficient, but fast. Easy-to-use but functional. And fuss-free but secure, so you can rest assured that your printer works for you, not the other way around. Whatever your needs, we’re confident we have the right solution to fit your business.”

Upgraded black and white devices available now include Canon i-SENSYS LBP325x, LBP220 series, MF440 series and MF540 series. Upgraded colour devices available from 16 September include Canon i-SENSYS MF740 series, MF640 series, LBP660 series and LBP620 series.
