October 22, 2018
With the monochrome laser A4 MFP market continuing to show growth year-over-year in the 45-69 page-per-minute (ppm) market, Canon U.S.A., Inc., has introduced the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 715iF II Series.
This series fits a need in the market for small business or workgroups that desire office solutions that are easy to use and can help maximise productivity. The successors of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE 500iF/400iF models, the new A4 models are the last instalment in the third generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE 2nd edition lineup, officially completing the platform.
“These highly anticipated models provide an ideal solution for small businesses or workgroups within large fleet environments that require printing and copying on letter- and legal-sized paper,” says Shinichi Yoshida, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Canon U.S.A. Inc. “The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE 715iF II Series places a stronger emphasis on personalisation, security, and reliability, producing crisp text and consistent images at fast print speeds.”
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 715iF II Series completes the third generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE platform to provide end users with a comprehensive enterprise experience. The series features print speeds of up to 75, 65, or 55 ppm, dependent on the model. A single-pass duplexing automatic document feeder scanning of up to 100 pages is standard on each model. An intuitive, responsive control panel with flick and pinch functionality mirrors that of smartphone technology for ease of use, which is consistent with all third generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE 2nd edition models. Built-in finisher models help ensure an easy configuration. The models incorporate Canon’s MEAP platform and support its diverse solutions portfolio.
With a growing demand for workplaces to implement more security features at the design level of office equipment, the series comes equipped with a comprehensive standard security feature set, consistent with all third generation imageRUNNER ADVANCE 2nd edition models. There is standard support for HDD security features, such as encryption and overwriting features. The series also supports uniFLOW Online Express as a standard cloud authentication solution and will feature consistent updates through the Unified Firmware Platform.
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE 715 iF II series is currently available for purchase through Canon authorised dealer channels.
