The OEM’s Dubai-based subsidiary has announced the release of four new successor models in the series.
Canon Middle East has launched the new collection of refillable inktank models in the PIXMA G series range. Describing the models as “high yield, easy to use and compact,” the models have been designed for both home, home office, and small office environments.
The new models in the series include the PIXMA G1410, claiming to offer “high volume printing at low cost per page”; the PIXMA G2410, a “high yield” MFP that also copies and scans; the PIXMA G3410, a 3-in-1 MFP that comes with WiFi connectivity, supporting print from tablets and smartphones, as well as copying and scanning with the Canon PRINT app; and the PIXMA G4410, described as “a compact 4-in-1” printer with a 20 sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), and which also boasts wireless connectivity to smart devices.
According to a company press release, the series is “desgned to boost productivity,” with the additional benefits of “keeping running costs down and delivering more prints.” It claims the printers have a page yield of 6.000 pages from the black ink, and 7,000 from the colour, allowing users “to print longer without changing inks and ensuring very low cost per page.”
Canon Middle East’s B2C Marketing & Direct Sales Senior Manager, Binoj Nair, said: “At Canon, we strive to enhance our consumers experience by being part of their stories. At the helm of innovation and fast-paced technology, we provide solutions, life-changing products, and lasting memories that can be shared on all occasions.”
“We aim to always offer a wide platform of high quality, revolutionary products with optimal design and durability that resonate with our consumers, thus making Canon a part of their life story,” Nair added.
The WiFi connectivity of both the G3410 and G4410, in conjunction with the Canon PRINT app, allows users to wirelessly print via a laptop, PC, or smart device, and enables them to remotely print photos and documents from various cloud services, including Google Drive, Dropbox, and Instagram. They are both compatible with Mopria on Android, removing the need to download additional apps, and the G4410 is also compatible with Apple AirPrint, allowing direct printing from compatible iOS devices as well.
