Canon introduces new IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer

Canon U.S.A., Inc. announced the new version of the IVY Mini Photo Printer, the IVY 2.
The IVY 2 is an upgrade from its predecessor, delivering higher quality pictures, a faster charging battery and better connectivity.
IVY creators can print photos of family, friends, pets or any other source of inspiration from their compatible smartphone onto sticky photo paper and add them to a scrapbook, a laptop, or virtually anywhere you can think of, all with a compact printer that fits easily in a small purse, or even your pocket.
Now also available is a new, expanded 100-sheet photo sticker paper pack (purchased separately).

The printer is available in two colours, pure white and blush pink. It takes just a few minutes to set up, and the multi-colour LED tells users the printer status. Using a compatible USB cable, the printer can fully charge in as little as 45 minutes.
The IVY 2 connects to compatible smartphones with Bluetooth, and utilises ZINK Zero Ink Technology from ZINK. ZINK paper is available in pre-cut circle sticker form (purchased separately).
To set and send print jobs, users download the free Canon Mini Printer App, which offers the option to print individual 2×3 prints or stickers.
The Canon IVY 2 Mini Photo Printer will be available from October, with a pre-order available now, through select major retailers and Canon USA’s site. The estimated retail price is $129.99 (€133), which includes the printer and a starter pack of 10 sheets of 2×3 photo paper.
The Canon ZINK Photo Paper Pack will also be available for the first time with 100 sheets later this year.
