Canon’s event celebrated schools excelling in ink cartridge recycling with awards and interactive activities.
The 13th Canon x McDull Inter-school Ink Cartridge Recycling Award Presentation Ceremony occurred on July 6, 2024, at the Canon Business Experience Centre in Hong Kong. This annual event, organised by Canon Hong Kong Company Limited, celebrates the environmental efforts of participating schools in recycling used ink cartridges.
The event featured a keynote speech by Mr. Kazuhiro Ozawa, President and CEO of Canon Hong Kong, who praised the schools for their dedication to promoting recycling. Ten schools were recognised for their outstanding contributions, with awards for the highest number of recycled cartridges and the highest number per head.
The ceremony included various interactive activities, such as green recycling booths, workshops on upcycling banners into handicrafts, and educational games about plastic recycling. These initiatives aim to enhance environmental awareness among students and the broader community.
