Canon files more infringement forms in the US and Australia

The OEM posted that it requested the removal of toner cartridge offered by OFFICEWORLD_TEC and AB Volts from Amazon US and NK STORE AU from Amazon Australia.
Canon announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking the removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by OFFICEWORLD_TEC for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CF360A, CF361A, CF362A and CF363A toner cartridges sold by OFFICEWORLD_TEC via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 9,581,958. Canon requested that Amazon remove OFFICEWORLD_TEC’s listings for those products, namely, OFFICEWORLD_TEC’s listings with Amazon Standard Identification Number (“ASIN”) B07TGSWVC7.
At the time of this announcement, the above-identified OFFICEWORLD_TEC listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
Also posted was the announcement of the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking the removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by AB Volts for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CE310A, CE311A, CE312A and CE313A toner cartridges sold by AB Volts via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove AB Volts’ listings for those products, namely, AB Volts’ listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (“ASINs”) B07YKRQN1Y, B07YKND5PQ, B07YKQL3TW, B07YKRM74B and B07YKMGV3X.
At the time of this announcement, the above-identified AB Volts listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
In Australia, Canon filed a Report Infringement Form with Amazon.com.au based on the alleged infringement of claim 28 of Canon’s Australian Patent Number AU2007205464 regarding the cartridge model CE320A, CE321A, CE322A, CE323A, CF210A, CF210X, CF211A, CF212A and CF213A offered by NK STORE AU under ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers) B078HY2LB7 and B078HQ8YSH.
After receipt of the Report Infringement Form, Amazon took down the respective products.
These products are compatible with the OEM HP cartridge models and provide a non-OEM housing and a non-OEM force receiving device according to claim 28 of AU2007205464.
