Canon continues with infringement reports

The OEM requested removal of toner cartridges offered by JUNBS and Mal-ll from Amazon.com as well as toner cartridges offered by Sprint Toner from Amazon.ca.
Canon announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by JUNBS for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CF258A toner cartridges sold by JUNBS via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent Nos. 8,280,278; 8,630,564; 8,682,215; and 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove JUNBS’s listings for those products, namely, JUNBS’s listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (“ASINs”) B07YFG1BGL, B07ZTPCFSS and B07YFDW448.
Amazon.com also received an infringement report seeking removal of listings for certain toner cartridges sold by Mal-ll for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CF258A toner cartridges sold by Mal-ll via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent Nos. 8,280,278; 8,630,564; 8,682,215; and 8,688,008. Canon requested that Amazon remove Mal-ll’s listings for those products, namely, Mal-ll’s listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (“ASINs”) B07XYL5HTN, B07ZBHVHKX, B07Z259CG1 and B07Z86NJ96.
In Canada, Canon filed an infringement report with Amazon.ca seeking removal of an Amazon.ca listing for certain toner cartridges sold by Sprint Toner.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CC530A, CC531A, CC532A, CC533A, CE410X, CE410A, CE411A, CE412A, CE413A, CF380X, CF380X, CF381A, CF382A and CF383A toner cartridges sold by Sprint Toner via Amazon.ca infringed Canon’s Canadian Patent no. 2,635,791. Canon requested the removal of the corresponding listings for these products, having Amazon Standard Identification Numbers B009E9GA3O, B00QESPHDW, B013YSIAQ0, B00PHRXAXU and B01AOIM4GA.
At the time of this announcement, products sold under the above-identified listings were no longer available on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.
