The COVID pandemic has not hindered the French office supplies company as it opens yet another store against a background of continuing growth.
Bureau Vallée continues to grow and strengthen its presence throughout France and has recently opened a new store in Nort-sur-Erdre, in the Loire-Atlantique region, increasing its presence in the west of France.
The new store opened its doors on 5 May and joins ten other stores in the region. It is located at 1 Rue de Bretagne, 44390 Nort-sur-Erdre, and offers its customers, professionals and individuals, expert advice as well as a wide range of products from major brands at unbeatable prices.
Bureau Vallée works with Armor OWA, U-Print and Switch, actively collecting for reuse and recycling of toner and inkjet cartridges. For selected Canon and HP inkjet models the company pays customers between €1 ($1.17) and €4 ($4.69) for a used empty inkjet cartridge.
The company has not been impacted by the Covid-19 epidemic as the office supplies chain reported turnover of €480 million ($588 million), up 10% on 2019 sales of €458 million ($561 million) and opened 19 new stores, increasing the total sales area by ?10,000 m².
The company attributed the growth to the tripling of its e-commerce turnover to €20 million ($24.5 million) in 2020. The companies click & collect service was boosted by demand for teleworking and home schooling and now represents nearly 10% of the brand’s total turnover.
