Brother wins PC Pro award
November 5, 2019
The OEM has won PC Pro’s Printer Brand of the year accolade for the sixth consecutive year.
Brother secured an overall score of 87 percent – one of the highest marks any printer brand has achieved – beating its second-place rival HP across the board, which included a six percent margin in the value-for-money category.
The judges commended Brother for continually outperforming the industry average in buyer satisfaction at the ceremony, which took place in October, the OEM stated.
The annual awards are judged on the results of a comprehensive three-month survey, which asks PC Pro readers to rate products and services released over the past twelve months on a range of topics from quality to reliability.
Brother said about the win: “We achieved a print quality score of 90 percent for the second year running. Our ratings also remained high for reliability (88 percent), speed (86 percent) and customer support (73 percent), with the rest of our competitors only scoring in the 50s and 60s.”
The success follows reviews in PC Pro for three of our products – the inkjet MFC-J5730DW, the colour laser HL-L3270CDW and the multifunction DCP-L3550CDW.
Andy Johnson, Head of Product Management at Brother UK, said: “We pride ourselves on offering our customers with quality and reliable solutions at the right price. These dominant scores, which put us well above the competition, are proof of the dedication our employees and supply chain partners put into delivering excellent products and customer service.
“This award win shows that we are truly living out our motto, at your side, and placing the user first by designing solutions to meet their needs.”
