April 2, 2019
The company has announced that it has managed to win an impressive clutch of 6 iF Design Awards this year.
These awards were presented to the OEM after products from its latest colour laser printer series and P-touch labelling ranges were recognised for their “outstanding design quality.”
Devices from Brother’s L3000 colour series won the Colour Laser Printer/All-in-one category, while labelling models P-touch CUBE Plus and PT-H110 were recognised in the best labelling system category.
Brother’s A150 sewing machine, ScanNCut DX SDX1200 device and Luminaire Innov-is XP1 embroidery sewing machine also picked up awards.
Judges for the iF Design Awards not only look at external appearance, but also quality, performance, user interface, innovation, safety and environmental credentials.
It’s the 12th consecutive year Brother has received iF Design Awards, reveals the OEM, taking the total tally of accolades to 72.
Brother won its first iF Design Award for the alphanumeric typewriter in 1982.
The awards are hosted and judged by the International Forum Design, in Hannover, Germany. This year the iF Design Awards received 6,375 entries from 52 countries and regions.
