Brother recognised by NJBIZ
July 14, 2023
Brother International Corporation announced it has been honoured once again as one of the Best Places to Work in 2023 by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s leading business journal.
The NJBIZ Best Places to Work in New Jersey awards programme recognises and celebrates the top places of employment in New Jersey that benefit the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The majority of each company’s score comes from a confidential survey of employees that evaluates their workplace experience.
“Brother is committed to fostering a work environment where our employees feel valued and appreciated,” said Don Cummins, President, Brother International Corporation. “Knowing that this award was a direct result of their positive feedback is both an honour and a testament to our internal initiatives.”
Armed with the motto “At Your Side,” Brother invests in its employees, celebrates success through recognition programs and promotes balanced work lifestyles. Employees enjoy benefits such as hybrid work schedules, wellness programs, paid parental and caregiver leave, and several professional development opportunities, such as learning certificates and career mapping. In return for employees’ hard work and creativity, Brother offers competitive salaries, bonuses and incentives.
The company also fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment, offering four Employee Resource Groups dedicated to Women, Latin Americans, African Americans and LGBTQ+ communities.
Volunteering within the community also contributes to Brother’s positive culture. Employees are invited to participate in volunteer opportunities such as beach clean-ups and environmental stewardship programmes. The company offers two paid cultural/civic responsibility days to each employee to celebrate the causes they care most about.
Additionally, the company’s longstanding social responsibility initiatives include the Brother Earth environmental programme, Relay for Life, and corporate matching through the employee donation platform.
