Brother International Corporation announced that selected colour laser printers and MFP models are now PANTONE-calibrated.
Brother International Corporation announced that it is receiving PANTONE-calibrated certification for its line of business colour laser printer and multifunctional products (MFPs).
Brother said that this certification recognises its commitment to delivering the industry’s leading offerings to its valued customers through superior colour output.
The Brother devices PANTONE calibrated are the HL-L8260CDW, HL-L8360CDW, HLL8360CDWT and HL-L9310CDW colour laser printers; and the MFC-L8610CDW, MFCL8900CDW and MFC-L9570CDW colour laser MFPs.
PANTONE calibration is granted to a vendor’s printing technology only after an exhaustive assessment. When a printer is PANTONE-calibrated, the printer manufacturer has engaged PANTONE to develop this specially optimised colour data so that the customer can get the best possible representation for the PANTONE Solid Colour standard on coated stock.
PANTONE takes into consideration the specific driver/RIP, device settings, ink set, colour engine and paper stock used when this colour data is developed since all these factors can affect colour output.
The PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM is a colour reproduction system used for the manufacturing process of graphic design, printing, multimedia, and web product design.
More than 10 million designers and producers around the world rely on PANTONE products and services to help define, communicate and control colour.
