Brother Industries, Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, BROTHER MACHINERY SHANGHAI LTD. has established a new Technology Centre in Tianjin, the People’s Republic of China, which is its sixth Technology Centre in China with a machine tool showroom.
The Technology Centre will be used as a facility for sales activities of machine tools, as well as for showcasing and demonstrating, hosting various seminars, performing test processing, and conducting service support activities.
In Tianjin, Brother opened a sales office in 2023 and has since been working to strengthen its sales activities in the surrounding areas. In particular, North China is an area with a strong manufacturing base centred on the automotive industry, and there is high demand for machine tools capable of metal cutting. To meet these demands, Brother has expanded the functions of its traditional sales office and established a new Technology Centre with a showroom where product proposals using actual machines can be made. Three models of the SPEEDIO series (M300Xd1-RD, S700Zd1, and W1000Zd2) are on display at the Technology Centre, and customers can bring their own parts for test processing.
