Brother launches EcoPro subscription in Austria
October 27, 2022
Brother has announced the launch of EcoPro in Austria, its ink and toner subscription service.
Brother’s EcoPro printer and supplies subscription service is designed to save consumers money while reducing the impact on the environment. Customers will be able to choose between A4 monochrome and colour laser options or an A4 scan and print inkjet selection that also has an A3 print option. A 12 or 24 month subscription plans are available.
According to Brother, the EcoPro scheme can achieve up to 66% CO2e reduction by maximising the total length of time a device is in use. When the device is no longer required, Brother will offer an incentive to collect and refurbish it to put it back into use with another subscriber. During the duration of the subscription, a repair guarantee for the device is included. This means that in the event of a service call, the user does not have to worry about anything and there are no additional costs.
Brother is also offering a free return and recycling scheme for ink and toner supplies which are processed at their dedicated facility.
Jana Eiman, Product Manager at Brother International GmbH said: “The relationship between users and the products they use has changed and this means an increased desire for efficiency in the way we live and work.
“Whether working from home or homework – due to the increased demand for printing tasks in the last two years, printers have become increasingly important. Ordering supplies and waiting for replacement ink can sometimes be costly and annoying. We launched EcoPro to prevent this and to support our customers.”
