New Montreal depot to improve repair turnaround times and simplify service process for Canadian customers.
Brother International Corporation announced the opening of a new repair depot in Montreal, Quebec, as part of its commitment to enhanced service for Canadian customers. Part of the Brother Assure Service Programme, this new facility will allow Brother to route Canadian customers’ equipment to a local repair centre instead of sending them to the U.S., reducing turnaround time and eliminating cross-border complexities.
Initially, the Canadian depot will service Brother’s PocketJet printer series and RuggedJet 4 mobile printers, with plans to expand to the full product line by June 2025. Customers will continue to interact with U.S.-based customer service and technical support for a seamless experience.
“Brother is committed to providing best-in-class service for our Canadian customers,” said David Macedon, Senior Product Manager, Supplies and Services for the Brother Mobile Solutions division of Brother International Corporation. “Our Assure Service Programme delivers comprehensive support to keep their equipment running smoothly. By streamlining repairs and reducing turnaround times, we’re helping minimise downtime and maximize productivity.”
The Brother Assure Service Programme provides support, including accidental damage coverage, with an industry-leading two-year limited warranty on most models (including printheads) and optional extensions up to five years. In-warranty customers receive free inbound and outbound shipping, while out-of-warranty customers receive covered return shipping.
