Brother introduces the DCP-J1800DW
November 7, 2022
With the DCP-J1800DW printer, Brother is launching its first multifunction printer with cutting function for small businesses and creative people.
It allows printing on A4 paper and card with the option to automatically cut to A5 size. The device prints 17 pages in black and white or 16.5 pages in colour and costs €269 ($268) (RRP, including VAT). Ink cartridges are available in two sizes for 200 or 500 pages each.
The print and cut function combined with photo quality printing makes this model ideal for creating marketing materials such as flyers or paper crafts, Brother explained. It is also Wi-Fi enabled and compatible with the Brother Mobile Connect app
The new model prints on both sides, which saves paper and reduces costs, while printing two A5 flyers on one A4 sheet makes optimal use of paper as a resource. The new printer offers access to the Brother Creative Centre with thousands of templates for business cards, brochures, newsletters and party invitations.
Jana Eiman, Product Manager at Brother International GmbH said: “Small business owners are having a harder time than ever at the moment. On the one hand they are trying to recover from the pandemic and on the other hand they are struggling with rising costs.”
With the Brother DCP-J1800DW, users can create marketing collateral that will help them grow their business – from flyers to restaurant menus – without the added expense of buying paper and cardstock in different sizes. In addition, the paper no longer needs to be cut manually as the device is equipped with an automatic cutter that cuts A4 paper into A5.
Brother’s new DCP-J1800DW printer features a 6.8cm colour LCD touchscreen and offers a wide range of colour copying and scanning functions.
The DCP-J1800DW will be available from German specialist retailers from November 2022.
