Brother introduces a slew of new devices

The company has announced new mono and colour laser devices as well as a new 5-in-1 print and cut device.

Brother’s first new range, aimed to serve in offices, provides the best print quality of any Brother laser printer and complete customisation thanks to multiple user profiles and flexible connectivity options. Convenient features include automatic 2-sided (duplex) printing speeds of up to 20 pages per minute (ppm), or 40 sides per minute, and fast seamless scanning helps users to work fast and meet those pressing deadlines.

The new range also introduces a game-changing function for A4 printing technology, Interrupt Copy. The new feature enables users to pause a printing job in progress at any time to quickly copy another job.

All three printers in this new range have been developed with a robust design and components built to last with double the service life of the machine, including the belt, engine and drum unit. To boost confidence even further, the flagship models have a three-year warranty, along free product support for the lifetime of all Brother products.

High-yield toners are included in-box for all three machines. A scalable design means that each machine can also be transformed from a desktop device to a highly efficient, floor-standing model.

Brother also announced the launch of two other new printing ranges, the compact monochrome laser range, and the compact colour laser range for home and small offices.

The compact monochrome laser range is designed to work smarter and make printing tasks a breeze. The range has been designed with print speeds of up to 34ppm, 2-sided (duplex) printing and up to 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).

Printing costs are kept down using a separate drum and toner unit. Super high-yield replacement toners are available to print up to 5,000 pages.

Every component of the new compact colour laser range has been optimised to reduce the overall size of the device without compromising on performance. The streamlined design is engineered to print quietly whilst delivering speeds up to 25% faster than the previous generation, so users can print continuously without distraction and focus on other tasks.

Brother International Corporation introduced its newest inkjet printer model, the MFC-J1800DW Print & Cut All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer, the brand’s first printer to feature automatic paper cutting capabilities.

Print & Cut utilises Brother Blade Sensor Technology (BST) designed to cut full letter pages in half with precision. For home, small business or crafting, the Print & Cut features full print, copy, scan and fax functionality with the added benefit of a paper cutter for cutting perfectly sized cards, invitations, restaurant menus, shipping labels and more.
