ARTI-Italia takes part in Ecomondo 2019
September 10, 2019
The 23rd edition of Ecomondo held 5-8 November at Rimini Expo Centre, Italy, is an international exhibition with an innovative format that brings together all sectors of the circular economy in a single platform.
Last month ARTI-Italia held its annual meeting and, among other initiatives, decided to participate in Ecomondo which this year has as its theme “we design a better world”. It is one of the most important Italian fairs dedicated to sustainability in which ARTI-Italia will have a stand and propose our ideas of circular economy, the association stated.
The President of ETIRA is also expected to attend one of the conferences organised during the event in Rimini from 5-8 November.
Giovanni Ravelli, President of ARTI-Italia said: “Continuing the path of communication which we started with the publication of the book entitled “The Art of Regeneration: Research on a Sustainable Future”, we intend to increase our presence in society and in the Italian market.
“Although recent government legislation on green public procurement has gone in the opposite direction, the law on minimum environmental criteria for print consumables has informed purchasing groups so that they are increasingly adopting these virtuous guidelines.”
“The new government, which has just taken office, has instead planned to pursue a line of environmental sustainability and support for the green economy. We hope that this year will bring better prospects and an ever-increasing ecological awareness for the protection of the environment and for the use of legal and clean products such as those that our factories produce every day,” Ravelli added.
