Alleeninkt.nl acquires Inktprecies.nl

The merger of the two local e-commerce companies came as no surprise, said co-owner of Alleeninkt.nl, Daniël Keute.
Alleeninkt.nl was founded by Daniël Keute and Nick van Klinken in 2013. As students found it difficult to find affordable ink cartridges and toners at a reliable-looking webshop, so they decided to create a webshop themselves to fill the gap in the market.
The e-commerce company Inktprecies,nl, was founded in 2014 and has served 25,000 customers in more than six years. In January 2021 Alleeninkt.nl found itself as one of the top three players in the Dutch market and is now competing with e-commerce platforms like 123inkt.nl and Printabout.
Both companies, Alleeninkt.nl and Inktprecies.nl are located in Coevorden in the Netherlands. As part of the merger, systems and customers will now integrate into Alleeninkt.nl. At the moment it is still possible to place an order at the webshop but a notice makes customers aware of the changes.
Inktprecies.nl said: “On behalf of the entire Inktprecies.nl team, we thank you for your confidence in our webshop in recent years.
“It’s time to grow, lower prices & create an even better customer service experience for you & 25,000 customers.”
Both companies were using Google Ads to get consumers interested in buying from them, but Google in recent month has considerably increased pricing for click-throughs.
“The reason for this acquisition is the number of large parties that are active in this market and the competition that is very high. Click prices have risen sharply, making entry increasingly difficult. We do our best all 22,000 convince customers of the added value of Alleeninkt.nl,” Daniël Keute said.
